Graduated in Business Administration from PUC-Rio (1986), earned his Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics - University of London - Wye College, (1990) and obtained a PhD in Agricultural Economics - University of London - Wye College (1994), now Imperial College. He has a specialization in Marketing (IAG/PUC-Rio, 1986) and extension courses in Higher Education held at Harvard Business School (2000) and PUC-Rio (2002). He was Adjunct Graduate Coordinator of the Administration Department and Vice-Dean of Graduate Studies at the Center for Social Sciences at PUC-Rio from 1999 to 2008. He has served as coordinator of several extension courses at the University. He is currently a full-time professor at PUC-Rio, in the Administration Department (IAG), researching and teaching subjects under Marketing, Environmental Studies, Brand Management, and Business Logistics. He has papers presented at congresses, conferences, and seminars, both in Brazil and abroad (Argentina, Costa Rica, USA, Scotland, Spain, Taiwan, and the Czech Republic). He is the current Central Coordinator of Internships and Professional Services at PUC-Rio and the University-Community Program (UNICOM), a service provider to support underprivileged communities in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
